  • Pizza stone or griddle-safe pizza pan
  • Rolling pin
  • Pizza cutter or sharp knife
  • Spatula
  • Small bowl for sauce mixing

Ingredients
  

For the Dough (store-bought or homemade):

  • 1 lb pizza dough

For the Sauce:

  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

For the Toppings:

  • 2 cups  shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup cooked toppings pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, bell peppers, etc.
  • 1 tbsp olive oil for brushing
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese optional
  • Fresh basil leaves optional, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the Blackstone Griddle and Prepare the Dough:
    Preheat the Blackstone griddle on medium-high heat for 10–15 minutes. If using a pizza stone or pan, place it on the griddle to preheat as well.
    Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness. Ensure it fits your pizza stone or griddle area.

  • Mix the Sauce:
    In a small bowl, combine the pizza sauce with oregano and garlic powder. Set aside.
    Assemble the Pizza:
    Lightly dust the pizza stone or griddle-safe pan with flour or cornmeal to prevent sticking.
    Place the rolled-out dough onto the hot stone or pan.
    Quickly spread a thin layer of sauce over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.
    Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce.Add your desired toppings, spacing them evenly across the pizza.

  • Cook the Pizza:
    Cover the griddle with a dome lid or large metal bowl to trap the heat and help the cheese melt.
    Cook for 8–10 minutes or until the crust is golden and crispy, and the cheese is bubbly.

  • Finishing Touches:
    Carefully remove the pizza from the griddle using a spatula.
    Brush the crust edges with olive oil for added shine and flavor.
    Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese and garnish with fresh basil leaves, if desired.
    Serve and Enjoy:
    Slice the pizza using a pizza cutter and serve immediately.
